Mr. Vincent Seo began his journey in the eyewear industry in 1987 as a junior salesman at a Korean trading company.
Through years of relentless effort and global experience across the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, he quickly earned a reputation for excellence. Within just seven years, he achieved the remarkable milestone of acquiring the very company where his career had started.
Driven by the belief that “in the Sky, there is no limitation,” he founded Skylimit Optical in 1994 — a company devoted to delivering eyewear and service beyond imagination.
As Korea’s rapid economic growth led to increasing labor and material costs, Mr. Seo expanded production by establishing Taehan Optical in Wenzhou, China, in 2007. His son, Jaden Seo, soon joined the business, giving birth to the collaborative identity Skylimit & Taehan Optical.
For over 30 years, the company has been recognized for its unwavering quality, long-term partnerships, and trusted service. Many of its major clients have worked with Skylimit & Taehan Optical for more than two decades, with monthly exports exceeding 350,000 frames worldwide.
Mr. Seo often jokes that he has spent more than half of his life “above the clouds” — a fitting reflection of his lifelong dedication to global eyewear excellence.

A New Chapter: When the time came for change, Mr. Jaden Seo took over the leadership of the company. Over time, as nearly all Korean factories withdrew from China, it remained the only Korean eyewear manufacturer still standing in Wenzhou.
Facing China’s rising labor and material costs — as well as an increasingly competitive eyewear market — he sought a new breakthrough: a way to connect directly with opticians around the world.
In 2024, he launched a new Stock Business Division, marking a bold new direction for the company.
The name S&T Optical Factory was born by combining the initials of Taehan and Skylimit, along with “T” from Vice President Tak and “S” from Seo, symbolizing collaboration and innovation.
Together with a team of top designers, S&T Optical develops dozens of new models every month, supplying directly to opticians worldwide.
